Welcome to the Little Shop of Physics, Colorado State University's hands-on science outreach program. Check out our online experiments, our resources for teachers, find out more about us, or find out how to have us come to your school. Each year, we share our collection of 70+ experiments with more than 15,000 students, but we also share an idea: that science is something anyone can do.

The Little Shop of Physics is a collection of hands-on science experiments that are designed to be used by students at all grade levels, K-16. We don't do presentations - we don't show students science. We help them do science, to observe, experiment, and question - and discover how rewarding this can be. They learn science, but they also learn that science is something that they can do. And we travel. We come to you. We come to schools all over the region to share our collection of fun and exciting experiments.

This young man can't say the alphabet. Of course, neither can anyone else who works with the "Delayed Speech" experiment!

We also have a TV show called "Everyday Science" which airs on Poudre School District Channel 10. Click on the Everyday Science tab above to learn more about the shows. We will soon be making episodes of the show available for sale! Keep checking the website to find out how to get them.

Check out our "Online Experiments" page to do some fun and zesty experiments at home with your computer! Some require the shockwave plug-in. You can get it from the "Online Experiments" Page.

See Photos and Movies on our "Photo Galleries and Movies" Page! Just click on the tab above and we'll whisk you away to a magical place of kids and toys! More movies and photos will be added as we visit more schools and tape more episodes!

Questions? Comments? Want us to visit you? Just click on the "Want us to Visit You?" tab above to learn more about us, talk to us, or find out how to get us to come to your school. (Begging and bribes may be involved...We like candy and doughnuts.)

Supporters: Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Of course, we couldn't do all this cool stuff without the help of some very generous people. This year, we are very happy to have major support from Kodak Colorado Division and Xcel Energy, and Colorado State University's Academic Enhancement Program. Check out all of the details of our supporters here with the link below.
