Our 2007-2008 World Tour:
"The Cyclone of Science"

is in full swing!

We'll visit nearly 50 schools, share hands-on science with over 15,000 kids, and put on an Open House that will be the biggest and best ever.

But you're asking...

What is the Little Shop of Physics?

Welcome to the Little Shop of Physics, Colorado State University's hands-on science outreach program. Check out our online experiments, our resources for teachers, find out more about us, or find out how to have us come to your school. Each year, we share our collection of 200+ experiments with more than 15,000 students, but we also share an idea: that science is something anyone can do.

The Little Shop of Physics is a collection of hands-on science experiments that are designed to be used by students at all grade levels, K-16. We don't do presentations, we don't show students science. We help them do science, to observe, experiment, and question - and discover how rewarding this can be. They learn science, but they also learn that science is something that they can do. And we travel. We come to you. We visit schools all over the region to share our collection of fun and exciting experiments.
